Marquette University Sailing Team

Welcome to the official site of the Marquette Sailing Team! Situated on beautiful Lake Michigan, and sailing out of the Milwaukee Yacht Club. We offer the Marquette community opportunities to sail C420 sailboats, both for recreation and in competition against other universities.  We keep busy with many great events on and off the water. The club has been around for over a half-century and currently has about 30 regular members with all levels of experience.

A Team With Heritage

This year we celebrate Marquette Sailing’s 70th anniversary. Founded in 1953, MUST was once the biggest club on campus. At one point we had our own office, keelboat, and opportunities to travel and compete internationally. While we are much smaller now than the once recorded 400+ members, MUST continues to have a unique place at Marquette. Sailors of any level can come and spend time on Lake Michigan, learn technical and critical thinking skills, and join a community of kind and dedicated individuals.
